Our client is an innovative family-run hidden champion in the food ingredients sector (B2B) and ranks among the top three companies in this field. In the future, our client would like to identify further growth areas within these businesses, for which they have founded an own venture firm. Join them to accelerate their venture, lead the team and drive it to future success.

As a Venture Lead (m/f/d) you are working on topics within the supplement / food processing sector. With your entrepreneurial mindset, you can foster innovation of nutraceutical topics within this venture. This includes scaling-up the unit itself but also further shaping the product vision and translating it into the right product features, while directly reporting to the management. You will also be accountable for building your own team to reach jointly defined milestones.


  • You are building a scalable B2B venture unit aligned with the core mission and vision of a natural and sustainable solution
  • You will be in close communication with the group's general management team and fully responsible for your venture unit
  • You develop a high margin operating model with a clear go-to-market, sales and monetization strategy
  • You have the disciplinary leadership and focus on team building aspects within the venture unit
  • You build and develop a strong ecosystem through strategic collaborations and partnerships and furthermore expand sustainable customer relationships
  • You professionalize the financial structure of the company and the product through e.g., business case calculations, budget planning, management reporting, and annual financial statements
  • You constantly monitor (industry) trends and emerging technologies within topics of supplements and in particular nutraceuticals

Job Anforderungen

  • You have experiences as an entrepreneur or in setting up and scaling a new product to internationalization, ideally in the following areas: supplements, nutraceuticals, food tech, biochemicals or life science
  • You understand the basics of IP & compliance processes on a product side
  • You have in-depth knowledge in launching a B2B product in the field of nutraceutical supplements
  • You have leadership competences to build up and lead a diverse team in close cooperation with the management
  • You have an existing network in the life science, medical or food industry
  • You are skilled in stakeholder communication to present the story, vision and reached milestones of the venture
  • Your English is on a very good level – Dutch and German language skills are a plus
